Backflipping: Adding Pages Anywhere

Adding the Backflip It! button to your Netscape or Internet Explorer toolbar makes backflipping a breeze. If you added the button when you joined, it should be visible at the top of your browser near the box that starts with "http://www..." Please continue reading if you don't see it.

If you haven't yet added the button, or you're using a different computer, now is the time to add it! Once the button is on your toolbar, you can click it whenever you find a Web page you like.

Step I. To add the Backflip It! button, click here. Follow the instructions on your screen. When you get there, as with all screens, you'll find answers to your specific questions about each screen by clicking Help at the upper-right. (To add the Backflip It! button in the future, click Add Pages at the top of any Backflip screen. Then click the purple button on the right side of the screen for instructions.)

Step II. If you added the Backflip It! button, but are now having trouble finding it, please follow the instructions below.

Netscape Users:

1. On the browser menu, select View.
2. Hold the cursor over the Show choice.
3. See if the side menu has a check mark next to Personal Toolbar.
4. If the checkmark is not there, select Personal Toolbar.
5. The Personal Toolbar should appear near the top of the browser.
6. If the Personal Toolbar is there, but you still can't see Backflip It!, continue below.
7. On your keyboard PC users press the Ctrl and the 'B' keys. Mac users hold the 'Apple' and the 'B' keys.
8. There will be a folder in the list named Personal Toolbar with items under it.
9. If Backflip It! is toward the bottom of the list, click it and drag and drop it near the top of the list. It is OK to 'drop' it when the cursor changes from a circle with a line in it.
10. If Backflip It! is not there, you need to add it -- see Add Pages.

1. On the browser menu, select View.
2. Hold the cursor over the Toolbars choice.
3. See if the side menu has a check next to Links.
4. If the checkmark is not there, click Links.
5. The Links toolbar should appear near the top of the browser.
6. If the Links toolbar is there, but you still can't see Backflip It! continue below.
7. If there is a small ">>" at the right end of the Links toolbar, click it.
8. If Backflip It! is there, you can drag and drop it back to the main Links area. It is OK to 'drop' it when the cursor changes from a circle with a line in it.
9. If Backflip It! is not there, you need to add it -- see Add Pages.
