How do I view my public folders?
There are three ways to view your public folders: My Public Home, Backflip's Public Directory and by unique URL. When you are signed into your Backflip account, view your public folders in My Public Home. Access My Public Home by clicking on Public Folders in the upper right corner of any Backflip page. This will bring you to My Public Home, where you can view all of your public folders. You can also locate your public folders by username in Backflip's Public Directory. Access the Public Directory by clicking on Public Folders in the upper right corner of any Backflip page and then selecting Public Directory. Use the unique URL while signed in or out of your Backflip account. The URL will launch you directly to the My Public Home view with all of your public folders. If you are signed in and access your Public Home page with your folder URL you will have access to your entire account. If you use the folder URL and are not signed in, you will simply have access to Backflip's signed out version of Public Folders and all other signed out features.

Yes, but only the owner of the shared folder can make the folder public.

When a shared folder is made public what happens?
The folder will be both shared and public. More specifically, if the owner of the shared folder allows friends to contribute Web pages to the folder these additions will appear both for those that share the folder as well as those that access it publicly in Backflip's Public Directory. Can only Backflip members view my public folders?
No, anyone can view Backflip's Public Folders. A non-member can view Public Folders two ways: When you make a Backflip folder public and are given a URL to access your Public Home page, this URL can be emailed to and used by non-Backflip members. This URL will bring them to your Public Home page with all of your public folders. In addition, one can view Backflip's Public Directory when they go to http://www.backflip.com and click on a link referencing Public Folders.

What are the differences between Show & Tell and Public Folders?
With Backflip's Show & Tell you select the people allowed to view your folder. When you make your folder(s) public you are sharing with the entire Backflip community (anyone who accesses www.backflip.com). When you use Show & Tell to share a folder you can allow others to add Web pages to your folder, yet when a folder is made public others can only view it and not add their own links. Note: If a folder is shared and public, those who share the folder and make additions will see these additions both in the shared folder view and in the Public Directory.
