Sharing with Show & Tell

Show & Tell is the new way to share and discuss what you find online. For quick answers and instructions, go straight to our FAQ.

Why Share?
Have you gone online to compare prices for a car, computer or gift? Or looked for airline deals, hotels or travel advice by searching the Web? Ever try to collaborate on a school project over the Net? Whatever specific topic you researched, you spent time discovering important Web pages. Now, you've got friends, family members or co-workers who might find your research useful too.

With Backflip, you and your friends can share and collaborate on the exact same folder of Web pages. Your folder remains private, except that you select certain people to see it and contribute to it.

If You Sent a Folder
  • See who's added it to their Backflip.
  • Let friends contribute more pages.
  • Get email updates as friends contribute.
  • Check out comments, suggestions.
If You Received a Folder
  • Add the folder to your Backflip.
  • Contribute more Web pages.
  • Get email updates.
  • Read comments. Make your own.

How It Works
As you discover interesting Web pages, backflip them into a specific folder. When you're ready to share the folder click the folder's name in the Show & Tell section of your screen, type emails of the friends you want to share the folder with. Enter a personal message and click share this folder. Everyone on your list receives an email inviting them to click on a link and check out your folder. Then, they see your folder and can say something about it. Each friend that's already a Backflip member can add your folder to their directory. And if you permit them, members can contribute more Web pages to your folder, too. Non-members can quickly join -- or they can view the shared folder by clicking the link in the email. Each time anyone adds a Web page to the folder, your friends can receive an email update. For step-by-step quick answers and instructions, go straight to our FAQ.
